COLBREN BOY KILLED IN JERUSALEM
Among the killed in the dastardly outrage in Jerusalem on Monday, is Private Howard Bratton RASC, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bratton of 9, Dulais Avenue, Colbren. An old pupil of Maesydderwen County School, Howard had spent some months at Aberystwyth Agricultural College before being called to the Army about 12 months ago. He had been in the Middle East for only about 3 months.
