It is a family grave, principally for Harry Evans (Henry Garfield Evans) and secondly his sister, Amy Kathleen, remembering his brother William Stanley also on the same stone. Both Henry Garfield Evans and William Stanley Evans are Commonwealth War Dead, from the Second World War, though William Stanley is not listed on the Ystradgynlais War Memorial.
The grave is constructed of 3ft by 3ft Forest of Dean headstone, with the Kerbs made from Concrete.
