James Charles Mallows served with the Welsh Regiment on the Western Front and was killed in action in France in September 1918.
The War Memorial erected in the 1970s recorded the name as J Marllows, but this was corrected when the new war memorial was constructed in 2016.
The information on James Charles Mallows has been compiled from a number of sources, including the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, from the Labour Voice newspaper, and the Parish Burial Register (courtesy of the Swansea Archives).
