Classrooms of Ynyscedwyn Primary School, Ystradgynlais

This classroom stands empty of furniture and inhabitants, and is a little forelorn. On the wall, a display reads 'A Bydded Goleuni'. Next to it is a display about India.

This curtained divider separated two of the rooms from each other. This section of the old school was dark as electricity had not been restored, and the wooden boards were still upon the windows.

A Bydded Goleuni -

The story of The Gingerbread Man told in Welsh in a display upon the wall.

This display focuses on the weather, specifically the ice, snow and cold, with labels in Welsh.

This window display shows the seasons from Winter, Spring, Summer to Autumn. In this photograph it has one of the wooden boards behind it, that had been put up over the windows to protect them during the period that the school was for sale. Originally, they would have been on plain glass clear to the outside view, and more striking for it.
