Headteachers of Ynyscedwyn School, Ystradgynlais

Ynyscedwyn School was initially a primary school, that became, in addition, a girls' secondary modern school in the post-war period, before all secondary education in the town was merged into Maesydderwen School in 1954. Thereafter, Ynyscedwyn continued as the Welsh-language primary school for the town until it closed in December 2012.

It would appear that the primary school and the secondary modern school had different headteachers, whilst occupying the same premises, the exact relationship between them being unknown.
