Godre'Rhos Chapel, Crynant, was originally built in 1754 and was rebuilt to its current construction in 1855 by architect Thomas Thomas of Landore.
Access to Godre Rhos ChapelGodre Rhos Chapel is off to the left of the main road across the moor from Ystradgynlais to Crynant, shortly before you get to the old Kingfisher pub or the cattle grid. Once you park up, you cross over a nice bridge, then through a swing gate into the cemetery of the chapel. On the LeftSome newer graves are on the left as you enter the cemetery of Godre Rhos chapel. In Front of the ChapelOn the RightThe majority of the graveyard is on the right-hand side of the chapel as you stand looking at it. New Graves on the RightAt the lower end of the right hand side of the cemetery are the newer graves of chapel members and their families.
